Information on Smoke from Wildland Fires
Many resources are already available from Federal and other State Agencies on the health effects of smoke. This page is to serve as a conduit to this information.
During wildfire events, The New Mexico Department of Health & the Environment Department will issue press releases on wildfire smoke hazards. The Department of Health has prepared a document on the Health Effects of Smoke Exposure.
