What's New in Permitting
This section provides information about current activities of general interest in the Permitting Section of the Air Quality Bureau. This includes information and public notices of permitting activities not specific to any facility. This section also provides public notices of upcoming Permitting Section public meetings, and public hearings about permitting issues of general interest. Additional information about new Air Quality regulations can be found on the Proposed Regulations web page.
Streamlining the Permitting Process
The Permitting Section is taking active and ongoing steps to improve and streamline the permitting process. Recently, we have or in the process of making the following fundamental improvements:
- Universal Permit Application (NSR, Title V, Streamline)
- Universal Statement Of Basis (SOB)
- Universal Permit Template Format (NSR & Title V)
- For a given facility assigning the same Permit Specialist to review both NSR and Title V permitting actions
