October 27th - 29th, 2009 for the Fourteenth Annual NM Infrastructure Finance Conference at the Isleta Resort in Albuquerque, NM.

       The New Mexico Infrastructure Finance Conference. Group Reservations: (505) 848-1999.

Room rate:  $80.00 King or Queen.

        Cut-off date was October 10, 2009.  Reservation requests received after this date were subject to availability, higher rates and/or maximum length of stay requirements.  In order to confirm individual reservations, a one-night room and tax guarantee/deposit via major credit card was required.  Reservation changes – based upon availability – were accepted without penalty until 4:00 pm three (3) days prior to arrival.  The deposit was non-refundable in the event of cancellations made after this time, or in the event a room was not occupied or reserved.

The on line registration allowed you to register your Guest/Spouse as Full Conference only.  You could not purchase individual “tickets/functions” through on line registration. You were required to phone the NM Municipal League at the number above to pay by credit card for your registration. You could also send registration forms to Jackie at PO  Box 846 Santa Fe, NM 87504 or Fax (505) 984-1392.

EXHIBITOR INFORMATION - EXHIBIT SPACE NO LONGER AVAILABLE as of 10/8/09 Reap the benefits of participating as a sponsor, and/or exhibitor.  Reach the more than 600 participants who are expected to attend including elected officials, city managers, community development directors, planners, public works directors, and many others from local, state and federal agencies as well as Native American Tribes.  Options for sponsorship include financial contribution alone or financial contribution with an exhibit. AWARDS

The purpose of the awards is to highlight a project in each category where innovative solutions were implemented incorporating community-wide solutions and participation.  The recognition could be given to an entity that undertook a project, or to an individual who championed the effort, whichever is most appropriate for a given project.  In either case, the person accepting the award should be someone instrumental in the project.

Joe Guillen Award
The purpose of this award is to reward outstanding individuals who have made a long term commitment to community/infrastructure development.  These individuals have made a lasting impact in communities in New Mexico.  Past recipients of the award have served in many areas including public service utilities, housing and community organizing.

Best Practices Awards
The purpose of these awards is to highlight a project where exceptional innovative solutions were implemented, encouraging community wide solutions and participation.  Best Practices Awards will be given in the following categories:

  • Economic Development

  • Tourism

  • Planning

  • Public Financing

  • Transportation

  • Utilities-Catalina Muniz Award
