Welcome to the Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program web page. The objective of the Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Program is to maximize the protection practicable for the citizens of New Mexico from ionizing and non-ionizing radiation in the practice of medical imaging. New Mexico requires licensure from this Department in order to perform medical imaging procedures or radiation therapy procedures. Links to Application Forms: Each type of Application Form contains instructions and fee amounts. Processing time is typically ten (10) business days or less after receipt of a completed application packets, provided that all the required supporting documents and fees have been submitted and received by this office.
