In an attempt to ensure that credit is properly assigned to training providers, and for internal program consistency and efficiency, a new electronic submittal form has been created. It should be used in conjunction with an already existing list which shows how credits are to be awarded. An outline of the items to be submitted is also available online.
NOTE: State regulations require operators to have 10 of the 30 credits required for renewal in the class of the certification (water and/or wastewater).
EXAMPLES: |
An operator holding only WATER CERTIFICATION needs 10 CREDITS IN WATER. The remaining 20 credits can be in water, wastewater, or any ‘other’ approved category. |
An operator holding only WASTEWATER CERTIFICATION needs 10 CREDITS IN WASTEWATER. The remaining 20 credits can be in water, wastewater, or any ‘other’ approved category. |
An operator holding both WATER and WASTEWATER CERTIFICATION needs 10 CREDITS IN WATER and 10 CREDITS IN WASTEWATER. The remaining 10 credits can be in water, wastewater, or any ‘other’ approved category. |
NOTE: The submittal form asks that the category (i.e., sampling and reporting) and the level and number from the Study Guide or Need-To-Know manual be specified. This will help to confirm that the regulation is being met. |
