The Upper Rio Grande (Part 2) TMDLs

SWQB
requested a 30-Day Public Comment Period to begin for the
draft TMDLs at the January 11th, 2005
Water
Quality Control Commission (WQCC) meeting.
Responses were accepted until Thursday, February 10, 2005. Those comments
were incorporated into the WQCC-Approved
Draft, which was accepted by the WQCC at
their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday,
April 12, 2005 in Santa Fe. The USEPA sent
New Mexico its
approval
letter for the Upper
Rio Grande TMDL (Part 2) on June 2, 2005.
The
Upper Rio Grande (URG) watershed from Cochiti
Reservoir to Pilar,
New Mexico requires five separate TMDL
planning documents on four discrete
reaches:
