SWQB
announced a 30-Day Public Comment Period for the
draft TMDLs, beginning on October 12th, 2005. Responses
were accepted until November 11th, 2005. All comments and SWQB
responses were incorporated into a Final
Draft version, which received
WQCC
approval at
their Tuesday, December 13th, 2005 meeting.
The USEPA approved the Final Version on February
10, 2006.
The Rio Hondo of Lincoln County in Southern New Mexico USA from the
Pecos River of its headwaters requires four TMDL
planning documents for bacteria, nutrients,
temperature and turbidity.
The full 211-page document with its 10 appendices is
now available
as either on master file (8.4 MB) or 24 individual interlinked
