SWQB announced a
30-Day Public Comment Period for the DRAFT Valles Caldera
National Preserve Watershed TMDLs beginning
on May 15, 2006. Responses were accepted until June 13th, 2006.
All comments and SWQB responses were incorporated into a WQCC- Approved version, which
was approved by the Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC)
at their Tuesday, August 8th, 2006 meeting. The United States
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
forwarded their letter of approval
of these TMDLs on October 11, 2006.
The Jemez River Watershed Valles Caldera National Preserve
boundaries to headwaters requires two
TMDL
planning documents for temperature and turbidity.
The full 207-page document with its 6 appendices is
now available as either on master file (12.2 MB) or 18 individual
