Funding was provided by US EPA Region 6 through a Wetlands Program Development Grant awarded to the SWQB Wetlands Program. Many thanks to the bosque landowners on the Upper Rio Grande between Española and Velarde for the care and good stewardship of their beautiful bosque environment. The Ohkay Owingeh Office of Environmental Affairs has graciously offered the use of photos of the Rio Grande bosque within the pueblo.
