Operator Training Now Available

Class A/B Operator Training:
The PSTB approved classroom Class A/B operator training 10/23/09 presented by Tank Management Services/Williams & Company Consulting, in conjunction with the New Petroleum Marketers Association. If interested, you may register online at www.petroclassroom.net or ask questions using the “Contact Us” feature on the web site. Additionally, you may call toll free 1-877-269-0194.

The American Petroleum Institute (API) and Antea Group offer a New Mexico state-approved web-based storage tank Operator Training program for Class A/B operators. Web-based training is available through API WorkSafe: www.apiworksafe.org. Call Jim Coburn at 1-800-477-7411 or email: jim.coburn@anteagroup.com with questions. Classroom instruction is also provided by Antea Group consultants and can be arranged by calling Jim Coburn at 1-800-477-7411 or emailing jim.coburn@anteagroup.com. Web-based and classroom training meet the training requirements of the Federal Underground Storage Tank Compliance Act of 2005.

Class C Operator Training:
UST Training’s Class C online program, available 24 hours a day for any owner/operator, was approved 11/24/09. A computer with high speed Internet and speakers are required. Bulk purchase discounts are available. See www.usttraining.com

U.S. Interactive offers Class C online training approved by the PSTB 6/7/10. Go to www.fuelspilltraining.com for additional information on this program.

On 6/14/10, the PSTB approved an online Class C course provided by Petro Classroom, available 24 hours a day. The course trains your personnel as required by PSTB. Petro Classroom provides an administrative tool for owners to track Class C personnel by facility to ensure compliance. PSTB has approved in-house Class C training programs for Susser/Strips (approved 3/24/10), Valero (approved 5/3/10), Western Refining (approved 5/18/10), Circle K (approved 6/21/10), and Love’s (approved 7/1/11).
