The New Mexico Water Quality Control Commission consists of fourteen members representing nine "constituent agencies" (see numbers 1 - 9 below), a representative for the municipalities and county governments (number 10) and 4 appointed members (number 11) [§ 74-6-3.A, NMSA 1978, 2010 cumulative supplement]:
The WQCC is administratively attached to the Environment Department [§ 74-6-3.F, NMSA 1978]. The commission assigns responsibility for administering its regulations to constituent agencies [§ 74-6-4.E, NMSA 1978]. |
